Wyle Holdings Inc., which broke into the public sector with their acquisition of RS Information Systems Inc. in 2008, Â will be acquired by a private equity groupCourt Square is a 20-year-old private equity group based in New York and has invested over $4.5 billion through more than 150 transactions, returning $14 billion.
Wyle’s ownership will move from Littlejohn & Co. LLC to Court Square Capital Partners. The deal’s terms were released, but the transaction is awaiting the consent of Wyle’s first lien lenders and certain regulatory approvals, according to the company.
Littlejohn acquired Wyle, 43 on the ’09 Washington Technology Top 100 list,  in 2003. Wyle’s acquisition of RSIS in January 2008 was their first foray into government contracting.
