HTPi a Finalist for Thirteen American Business Awards

High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi), a technology services company for the federal government, is a finalist for 13 categories of the American Business Awards, making this the third consecutive year the mid-sized company has had every one of its nominees accepted as finalists for the national awards. The American Business Awards (the Stevies) are the only national honoring great performances in all sectors of business. This year, HPTi is a finalist for Best Overall Company and Best Community Service Committee. HPTi employees are up for Best Human Resources Executive, Best Technical Professional, Best Finance Executive, Best Corporate Communicator, Best Support Staffer, Best IT Executive, Best Product Developer, Best Marketer, and Best Customer Service Executive.

The Stevies received more than 2, 600 entries from companies of all sizes in virtually every industry in more than 40 categories. Members of the Awards Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from the finalists in deliberations that will continue through June 3. Finalists were chosen during preliminary judging beginning in April and ending in early May.

HPTi President Tim Keenan commented, “I am delighted that so many HPTi employees were named as finalists.”  He continued,   “I am so proud when people outside of HPTi get to see the amazing contributions our people are making. The skill and talent of these nominees illustrates why a company of our size has the ability to successfully compete with multi-billion dollar corporations.”

Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards, said, “Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and individuals continue to perform well.  The results of the 2009 ABAs thus far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of American organizations, executives, and workers.”
