Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) announced Thursday it has closed its $1.15 billion cash acquisition of Telcordia. Ericsson expects the deal to increase its earnings per share in the year after closing. Ericsson to Buy Telcordia for $1.15B Cash

Ericsson has reached an agreement to acquire mobile, broadband and enterprise communications firm Telcordia for $1.15 billion cash from its private equity owners Providence Equity Partners, LLC and Warburg Pincus.
