Sallyport Awarded $400M Contract to Support Iraq F-16 Base Operations


Sallyport Global Holdings has landed a one-year, $400 million contract to help manage Iraq’s F-16 base operations through the U.S. foreign military sales program.

The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will deploy personnel to provide aircraft base life support and security services at Balad Air Base in Iraq.

Work under the sole-source contract is scheduled to be complete by Jan. 30, 2019.

The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is obligating $196 million at the time of award from FMS funds.

Reston, Virginia-based Sallyport offers operations and maintenance, life and logistics support, construction, risk management, integrated security and training services to the government sector.
