DLA Issues $800M Medical Ultrasound Equipment IDIQ to Fujifilm SonoSite


medical health doctorThe Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Fujifilm SonoSite a potential 10-year, $799.6 million contract for ultrasound machines,  accessories and training support services.

DLA received 27 offers for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive procurement, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The contract’s base period is slated to run through Oct. 31, 2021 and work will occur in Washington.

All four U.S. military branches and federal civilian agencies are the using government components for the IDIQ.

Washington-based SonoSite manufactures ultrasound equipment designed for point-of-care use.
