TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 5, 2016 — Dave Wajsgras, president of the intelligence, information and services business of Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), has said the National Cyber Security Awareness Month works to encourage a collective effort to address future cybersecurity challenges, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Wajsgras, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, wrote in a blog post published Thursday the overall effort calls for the right people and skills to be developed, with the youth a major focus of initiatives to build the future cyber workforce.

“Eliminating the growing deficit in our cyber workforce requires that we all, no matter what industry we’re in, focus on raising cyber awareness among our youngest generations, ” he said.
