Raytheon Gets ATCA Award for Work in Air Traffic Control Modernization


Raytheon logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 19, 2016 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has received the 2016 Industrial Award from the Air Traffic Control Association in recognition of the company’s work in air traffic control modernization efforts, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday ATCA presented the award during the organization’s 61st Annual Conference and Exposition in Maryland.

Raytheon has worked with the Federal Aviation Administration, National Air Traffic Controllers Association and Professional Airways Systems on the implementation of the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System across 11 terminal radar approach control facilities in the U.S.
