IBM, Siemens Partner to Push Use of Population Health Management


partnershipTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 12, 2016 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Siemens have entered into an alliance that seeks to promote the application of Population Health Management platforms to treat patients afflicted with complex and chronic illnesses, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

IBM said Tuesday the partnership combines its Watson Health cognitive computing systems with PHM services from Siemens’ Healthineers business unit.
