Engility to Provide Software, Networking Support for Navy Tactical Afloat Network; Lynn Dugle Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 14, 2016 — The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Atlantic has awarded Engility (NYSE: EGL) an 18-month, $16 million task order to continue to deliver software and networking services for the U.S. Navy‘s tactical afloat network, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Engility said Thursday it will work to update the data, transport, voice and video services, as well as the cybersecurity systems under the task order awarded through the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services vehicle.

“Ensuring that our naval infrastructure is managed and integrated properly is a critical mission and we look forward to continuing this specialized support, ” said Engility CEO Lynn Dugle.

She added that the company will continue to provide domain expertise to support the integration of the Navy’s tactical afloat networks for cyber warfare missions.
