DHS Adopts General Atomics’ Predator B Takeoff & Landing System for CBP


General AtomicsTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 21, 2016 — The Department of Homeland Security will use General Atomics‘ takeoff and landing system for the Predator B remotely piloted aircraft in a new flight software for the Customs and Border Protection agency, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday DHS has fielded the Automatic Takeoff and Landing Capability system in effort to facilitate the safety and efficiency of Predator B flights.
