U.S., India Near Joint Production Deal for Javelin Missile Tech


JavelinTYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 23, 2016 — The U.S. and India are close to reaching a deal to jointly manufacture the Javelin anti-tank guided missile technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Defense News reported Wednesday that Javelin Joint Ventures, a Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT)-Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) joint venture, and Tata Group‘s Tata Power Strategic Engineering Division have signed a letter of intent to explore Javelin ATGM co-development and production strategies.
