Northrop Grumman to Feature Mine-Hunting Tech at Unmanned Warrior Exercise

northrop Grumman_BLUETYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 6, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will feature its AQS-24B mine-hunting sensor system during a demonstration at the Unmanned Warrior exercise in October, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday the technology works to detect, locate and classify undersea mines using its synthetic aperture sonar and optical laser line scan sensor as part of maritime operations.
