CAE Receives 3 Aircraft for Army’s Fixed-Wing Flight Training Program


CAETYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 2, 2016 — CAE‘s (NYSE: CAE) U.S. business has accepted delivery of three G120TP aircraft that the company will use to provide fixed-wing aircraft training to the U.S. Army‘s rotary-wing aircraft pilots, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

CAE said Wednesday it has started preparations for the Fixed-Wing Flight Training program that will begin in 2017 and construction is ongoing on the Dothan Training Center in Alabama.

“This turnkey training program will include live, virtual and constructive training that will provide the Army with a modern, flexible and cost-effective training solution specifically designed for the Army’s fixed-wing community, ” said Ray Duquette, CAE USA president and general manager.
