Air Force to House Formal Training for Boeing-Built KC-46 at Altus AFB


KC46ATYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 2, 2016 — A new U.S. Air Force facility at Altus Air Force Base will house the service branch’s formal training activities on the Boeing-built (NYSE: BA) KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling tanker aircraft, Executive Gov reported Thursday.

The Air Force said Wednesday the Leverett Formal Training Center will serve to support aerial refueling and joint service operations and deliver aircrew training beginning this fall.
