Northrop to Update Global Hawk Ground Segment Under Air Force Contract

RQ-4-Global-HawkTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 24, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has received a contract from the U.S. Air Force to update the ground control segment of the service branch’s Global Hawk unmanned aircraft systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday it will provide a scalable cockpit architecture and new command-and-control tools and cybersecurity systems for the Global Hawk ground segment.
