Dynetics EVP Mike DeMaioribus to Retire in September; David King Comments


DyneticsMike DeMaioribus, executive vice president of business operations at Dynetics, plans to retire from the company on Sept. 14 after a 39-year career at the Huntsville, Alabama-based engineering, applied science and information technology contractor.

He is responsible for corporate finance, contracts, security, facilities, project support,  human resources and creative media solutions organizations in his current position, Dynetics said Thursday.

DeMaioribus has managed the company’s programs to research, develop and evaluate various weapon technologies such as radars, missiles and C4I systems (command, control, communications, computers and intelligence) during his career there.

“Chief among Mike’s accomplishments is his recognized expertise on foreign air defense systems, ” said Dynetics CEO David King.

“For the past three years, Mike has been indispensable in helping Dynetics continue to evolve its diverse operations.”

DeMaioribus previously served as SVP and manager of the company’s hardware and intelligence operating unit, where he supervised more than 280 engineers, scientists and technicians across four company sites in the U.S.

He also currently serves as vice president pro-tem of the board of trustees at Auburn University as well as serves on the board of directors at the Huntsville Botanical Garden.
