Boeing Lands Navy Modification Award for P-8A Increment 3 Block 2 Reviews


boeing logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 9, 2016 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will conduct preliminary and critical design reviews on the Increment 3 Block 2 update of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft under a $60.8 million delivery order modification from the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the modification works to drive the maturity of Increment 3 Block 2 features such as wide-band satellite communications,  automated digital network system and anti-surface warfare signal intelligence.
