NTT Data to Operate Contactless Ticketing System in Australian State of Victoria


NTT DATATYSONS CORNER, VA, July 13, 2016 — NTT Data (NYSE: NTT) will operate the smart card ticketing system of the state of Victoria in Australia under a potential $533.7 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday its Payment Services Victoria subsidiary will operate myki across Victoria beginning January 2017 as part of the contract from the state government and Public Transport Victoria.
