General Atomics to Equip Reaper Drone With Raytheon-Built Radar Detection System

ReaperTYSONS CORNER, VA, July 11, 2016 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and General Atomics have partnered to integrate the former’s Advanced Radar Detection System with the latter’s Predator B/MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

General Atomics said Thursday the integration of the radar detection technology to the Reaper works to support electronic intelligence operations and detect emmitters of radio-frequency signals.
