India Eyes General Atomics Drones for Maritime Surveillance


PredatorTYSONS CORNER, VA, June 29, 2016 — India’s government aims to procure 22 General Atomics Predator unmanned aircraft systems under a potential foreign military sales agreement with the U.S., ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Defense News reported Monday India has sent its letter of request on June 17 to purchase the UAS as a component of its maritime surveillance activities in the Indian Ocean.
