SAIC Named a ‘Most Valuable Employer’ for Military; Kimberly Admire Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 9, 2016 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been included in CivilianJobs.com‘s list of the 2016 “Most Valuable Employers” for Military for its veteran hiring and support programs, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.

SAIC said Tuesday the recognition is based on a survey of employer recruitment and retention strategies and seeks to guide military-experienced job seekers and veterans in their potential transition to civilian careers.

“Today, more than 20 percent of our workforce are veterans, ” said Kimberly Admire, SAIC executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
