Denmark Eyes $3B Purchase of 27 Lockheed Martin F-35s


F-35TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 13, 2016 — Denmark plans to place an order worth approximately $3 billion for the Lockheed Martin-built (NYSE: LMT) F-35 fighter jet as replacement for the country’s F-16 fleet, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Defense News reported Thursday the potential foreign military sale covers 27 F-35s to support national security operations and would make Denmark the 11th allied country to buy the fighter jet.
