Rockwell Collins has appointed Brad Haselhorst, a senior director at the aerospace company since May 2013, to the role of vice president for strategy and business development in the government systems segment.

The Cedar Rapids, Iowa-headquartered company said Wednesday Haselhorst will succeed Dave Nieuwsma, who will assume leadership of Rockwell Collins’ information management services business.

Haselhorst will oversee marketing, sales and strategy development for the government systems division and continue to lead the company’s facility in Richardson, Texas.

“Brad’s in-depth customer relationships, product knowledge and insight make him the right fit for this role, especially as we continue to look for opportunities to position our product portfolio for global growth in the years to come, ” said Phil Jasper, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the government systems business.

Haselhorst has held the role of senior director for sales and business development operations at Rockwell Collins since May 2013.

He also served as senior director of VIP and special missions plus fighter, bomber and trainer solutions within the government systems segment, where he was responsible for customer relationship management, program execution, profit and loss as well as new business pursuits.
