TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 29, 2016 — Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president for U.S. government strategy and policy at Inmarsat, has said military and commercial integration of satellite systems works to support unhindered warfighter access to services, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a blog entry posted Monday that integration through a satcom-as-a-service model addresses challenges associated with connectivity and interoperability.

“An integrated satcom architecture developed in partnership with the satcom industry is instrumental to meeting the national security requirements of today and tomorrow, ” she said.
