General Dynamics to Deliver Completed Space Fence Ground Structure to Lockheed


SpaceFenceTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 11, 2016 — A subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has completed the construction of the radar receive array ground structure for the U.S. Air Force‘s future space fence system being built by Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

General Dynamics said Thursday its SATCOM Technologies division built the 700, 000-pound steel structure in Texas and will deliver it to the Marshall Islands for integration into the space fence.
