TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 12, 2016 — The Energy Department has given Parsons‘ Salt Waste Processing Facility project in South Carolina a Project Management Improvement award, GovCon Executive reported Monday.

Parsons said Friday Deputy Energy Secretary Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall presented the award during a ceremony in March.

The company aims to work within its standards for safety while “delivering the Salt Waste Processing Facility on time and under budget, ” according to Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016.
