AT&T to Provide Emergency Comms Support to DHS Under Contract Option Year 2


wireless communicationsTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 5, 2016 — AT&T (NYSE: T) will provide emergency communication services to the Department of Homeland Security under an $11.7 million award to exercise the second option year in a previously awarded contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday AT&T will support the Priority Telecommunication Service program of DHS’ Office of Emergency Communications to address communications requirements during crises.

The new award brings the total contract value to $39.5 million, DoD added.
