TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 9, 2016 — Mark Testoni, president and CEO of SAP National Security Services (NYSE: SAP), has urged corporate chief information officers to consider in-memory computing to boost real-time cybersecurity efforts, ExecutiveBiz reported March 2.

Testoni, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, wrote in a guest piece published Feb. 29 on The Guardian that finance operations, critical infrastructure and personal data are the main targets of attacks.

“To complement the evolution of perimeter defenses, we need to shift our focus to detecting and acting on attacks as quickly as possible, ” he wrote.

“[We] must identify the high-value targets that are most likely to be attacked and prioritize the areas where a security breach would be most damaging.”
