Lockheed Martin Eyes Move of Some F-16 Production Work to India


F16FleetTYSONS CORNER, VA, March 23, 2016 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is working with the U.S. and Indian governments to discuss the potential move of some F-16 aircraft production operations to India, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Hindu newspaper reported Monday the plan works to support the country’s recapitalization targets for fighter jets and facilitate technology transfer initiatives.

The governments could reach a decision by April, the report said.
