Raytheon-Built Systems on Zumwalt-Class Destroyer Complete At-Sea Trials


Raytheon logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 11, 2016 — The Raytheon-built (NYSE: RTN) electronic and combat systems onboard the U.S. Navy‘s DDG 1000 Zumwalt-class destroyer have completed a week-long at-sea series of trials, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Wednesday the Alpha Trials tested the capabilities of the Total Ship Computing Environment, engineering control systems and other shipboard applications.
