TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 18, 2016 — General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has partnered with QGroup to support the deployment and maintenance of the QTrust Server in efforts to protect the information systems of the German federal armed forces, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
General Dynamics said Monday its PitBull Trusted Operating System will work to supplement the QTrust security appliance as part of QGroup’s contract with the Bundeswehr.
Nadia Short, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Mission Systems‘ cyber systems unit, said the company also worked with QGroup to migrate PitBull to Red Hat‘s (NYSE: RHT) Enterprise Linux platform.
