CACI, Virginia Tech Hume Center to Research UAV Cybersecurity; Ken Asbury Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 10, 2016 — CACI International (NYSE: CACI) and the Ted and Karyn Hume Center for National Security and Technology at Virginia Tech will collaborate on research projects about the cybersecurity of unmanned aerial vehicles, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Tuesday the five-year partnership is focused on the Cyber-Physical System Security program and also includes mentorship and curriculum development.

“The threat of cyber attacks on platforms like unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as industrial control systems, vehicles and even weapon systems, grows more pressing every day, ” noted Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI.
