Anti-Interference Radar Developed by Serco, Lockheed Martin Now Fully Operational


lockeed martin 2 EMTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 9, 2016 — The Remote Radar Head built by a SercoLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) team is now in full operations in the U.K. and will work to alleviate the Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm’s potential impact on British air defense missions, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Serco said Thursday the radar system includes a TPS-77 radar that helps to minimize wind turbine interference on air defense radar technology.
