SOSSEC Awarded $99M C4ISR Data Sharing System Prototyping OTA


NavyC4ISRSystem of Systems Security has won a potential five-year, $99 million “other transaction” agreement with the U.S. Air Force to develop, integrate and test information sharing technology prototypes for various C4ISR systems.

The Air Force Research Laboratory received six offers for the program through a competitive procurement,  the Defense Department said Thursday.

SOSSEC comprises government, academic and industry member organizations with a common goal to develop tools and methods that can help federal civilian and defense agencies carry out missions.

Under the OTA, the consortium will deliver information sharing platforms for the Distributed Common Ground Station, Theater Battle Management Core Systems, Air Operations Center, Open Mission System, Secure View, Information Support Server Environment Guard, Web Temporal Analysis System, Combined Information Data Network Exchange, Collaboration Gateway and military cyber environments.

Work will occur in Atkinson, New Hampshire, and is scheduled to finish Jan. 21, 2021.
