Navy Awards 8 Spots on $809M NAVSUP Business Systems Center Support IDIQ


software-engineeringThe U.S. Navy has awarded positions on a potential four-year, $809 million contract to eight companies to provide process management and data support services for the Naval Supply Systems Command Business Systems Center.

The service branch awarded the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive procurement with 15 proposals received, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The contractors will compete for individual task orders to perform business process reengineering, data analysis and governance, business-related systems engineering, integration and sustainment services in support of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system.

NAVSUP BSC works to provide tactical information technology support and oversees the development, maintenance, implementation and integration of business systems for the service branch, joint service, DoD and other federal agencies.

The vendors are scheduled to complete work by July 2020 once the service branch exercises all options, according to DoD.

The awardees are:

  • CGI (NYSE: GIB)
  • Deloitte
  • ECS Federal
  • IBM (NYSE: IBM)
  • Leidos (NYSE: LDOS)
  • Main Sail
