Lockheed Taps Northrop to Provide Satellite Bus Inertial Measurement Unit


LN 200S IMUTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 14, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded a contract to provide its LN-200S inertial measurement unit for Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) LM 300 satellite bus, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Northrop said Tuesday the IMU works to support vehicle control systems navigation and attitude control using angular motion and acceleration data.
