Lockheed Martin Builds First of 33 F-35A Jets for Israel


F-35TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 12, 2016 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has begun the assembly of the four major structural components of Israel’s first F-35A aircraft at a facility in Texas ahead of its delivery in late 2016, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Sunday the first of 33 F-35A Adir conventional takeoff and landing aircraft for Israel, which is designated AS-1, is scheduled for rollout in June.
