Harris’ Exelis Unit to Work on USAF’s Ground Surveillance Radar, Sensor Systems

Navy-radarTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 5, 2016 — Exelis, a subsidiary of Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS), will provide radar and sensor systems engineering, sustainment and integration services under a $14.1 million U.S. Air Force contract modification, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Thursday the contract modification also includes support for the Air Force’s distributed space command-and-control facility in Dahlgren, Virginia.
