Former SRA CEO Bill Ballhaus Appointed Chairman, President & CEO of Blackboard

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 7, 2016 — Blackboard has hired Bill Ballhaus, formerly president and CEO of SRA International, to chair its board of directors and serve as president and CEO, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.

Ballhaus brings senior leadership experience from his previous work at SRA, DynCorp International, BAE Systems, Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Hughes Network Systems, Blackboard said Monday.

He served in the top executive position at SRA until its merger with Computer Sciences Corp.‘s (NYSE: CSC) government services business to form CSRA (NYSE: CSRA).
