Boeing-Built Intelsat 29e Satellite Launches to Space


boeing logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 29, 2016 — The Boeing-built (NYSE: BA) Intelsat 29e communications satellite launched into space Wednesday to serve government and enterprise users in Latin America, North America and the north Atlantic region, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Intelsat (NYSE: I) said Wednesday the satellite is the first of its EpicNG constellation, which will work to provide satellite connectivity to support the Internet of Things, aeronautical and maritime mobility and other applications.
