TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 2, 2015 — Casey Coleman, vice president of Unisys‘ (NYSE: UIS) federal civilian business, said government executives face challenges in keeping pace with technology advancements, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

She wrote in a blog entry posted Monday that according to participants at the recent Executive Leadership Conference, budget, regulatory and governance structures in the public sector are slower to adapt to emerging technologies.

Developments such as the General Services Administration‘s Acquisition Gateway, the implementation of the Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act and the adoption of shared services work to address the identified challenges, Coleman added.
