Inmarsat, EM Solutions Combine Milsatcom, Global Xpress for New Maritime Satellite Terminal


SatelliteTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 15, 2015 — Inmarsat has partnered with EM Solutions to combine military satellite communications and Global Xpress technology to develop a satcom terminal for maritime users, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Inmarsat said Friday it plans to accredit the terminal in the second quarter of 2016 and submit it for certification on the Wideband Global Satcom system.
