DLA Taps Johnson Outdoors for $200M Tent Supply Contract

ShelterJohnson Outdoors in New York, doing business as Eureka Tents, has won a potential four-year, $200 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply commercial tents to the U.S.’ four military branches.

Twenty offers were submitted to DLA for the firm-fixed-price contract through a competitive bidding process, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Johnson Outdoors is scheduled to complete the one-year base period of performance by Dec. 8, 2016.

DLA’s Troop Support organization is the contracting activity and will use fiscal 2016 and 2017 defense working capital funds for commercial tent procurement.
