Boeing, Partners Launch Study on Sea-Tac Airport Aviation Biofuel Infrastructure


biofuelTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 18, 2015 — Boeing (NYSE: BA), Alaska Airlines and the Port of Seattle will conduct a feasibility study on the development of infrastructure for aviation biofuel at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Boeing said Wednesday the $250, 000 project aims to support efforts to reduce carbon emissions at the airport and increase aviation biofuel production in the region.
