Boeing, Navy Test Modified Growler With New Targeting, Data Sharing Systems


boeing logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 4, 2015 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has integrated target detection and data-sharing systems into the EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft for a fleet experimentation activity with the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the integrated systems include a Windows-based tablet display, a targeting processor and an open architecture data link and work to support longer-range targeting.
