Lockheed Martin to Update Navy’s Ship-Based Aegis Systems


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA, November 18,  2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will provide engineering support for the U.S. Navy‘s ship-based Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense system under a potential $36.7 million contract modification, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Defense Department said Monday Lockheed will also support the modernization of the Aegis system onboard the Navy’s DDG 51 and CG57 ships.
