Harris Opens $2M Facility for Florida Tech Science, Engineering Students


HARRISTYSONS CORNER, VA, November 24,  2015 — Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) has unveiled a new $1.9 million facility in Florida that serves as a venue for technology development projects of Florida Institute of Technology’s science and engineering students, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Friday the Harris Student Design Center at the university’s Melbourne campus is funded partly through a $1 million grant from Harris.
