Acendre Hires Josh Steele as CFO; Mike Giuffrida Comments

Josh Steele, founder of consulting firm Flywheel Associates, has joined talent management software provider Acendre as chief financial officer and will be in charge of the company’s financial operations.

Acendre said Tuesday Steele will work to support company efforts to expand its customer base and technology portfolio.

“Josh brings a strong track record of scaling rapidly growing technology businesses that will be crucial to our future trajectory, ” said Mike Giuffrida, co-founder and CEO of Acendre.

“His record of boosting company performance and his vision as a business strategist make him an important addition to our management team.”

Steele has also worked as a principal at Flywheel Associates, vice president for financial planning and treasurer of MicroStrategy, manager of corporate finance at Software AG and a consultant at PwC.

He is currently a member of the board of trustees at the Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School in Washington.

Acendre, formerly known as NGA.NET, rebranded earlier this year.
