William Loomis Joins MIL Corp. as CFO; Maurice Long Comments

William Loomis

William Loomis, formerly executive vice president and chief financial officer at financial services firm Centennial,  has joined Bowie, Md.-based government services contractor MIL Corp. as CFO.

MIL said Monday Loomis will oversee financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, business processes, taxation and financial planning and analysis functions.

“Adding Bill to our team was a strategic move, meant to streamline business processes and prepare our financial operations for future growth, ” said Maurice Long Jr., president and CEO of MIL.

Loomis brings more than 30 years of financial and executive leadership experience to MIL.

Prior to Centennial, he served as CEO and CFO of the intelligent storage management provider FileTek.

He is a certified public accountant and an Elijah Watts Sells National Honorable Mention Award recipient.
