United Launch Alliance Lands $233M US Air Force Launch Vehicle Contract Modification


Launch of Atlas V MUOS-2,  July 19,  2013 from Cape Canaveral AFSUnited Launch Alliance has received a $232, 939, 333 contract modification to configure the U.S. Air Force’s launch vehicles.

The award fulfills one of the requirements under the launch vehicle production services contract for the Air Force Atlas V 411 and Delta IV, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

ULA will carry out the task in Colorado, Alabama, Florida and California through Jan. 28, 2018.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Boeing (NYSE: BA) formed ULA in 2006 as a 50-50 joint venture to merge the Atlas and Delta teams.
